About Nicholl Grange

Nicholl Grange is a residential care home in West Bromwich. We support adults living with mental health conditions, in a house that is meant to feel like somebody's home rather than a facility. Recovery is not a straight line and we do not pretend otherwise. Some of the people who live here are steady and getting on with things; others are having a harder stretch. Our job is to be reliable through both. That means knowing somebody well enough to notice early when things are shifting, supporting medication and appointments without taking over, and working alongside community mental health teams so that everybody is pulling in the same direction. Day to day, we support people to look after themselves and their space, to manage money, to cook, to keep in touch with family and friends and to use what is around them locally. Independence is the point. Where somebody wants to move on to their own tenancy in time, we help them build towards it rather than treating a place here as a final destination. Respite stays are available too, which can give a family a planned break or give somebody a period of steadier support when they need it. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are looking for a placement, please contact us. We are happy to arrange a visit and we will be honest about whether we are the right fit.
