About Us

Here at Arden House, we offer residential care to people living in and around Pickering, in the heart of North Yorkshire. We are proud to have received a "Good" rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the genuine care and commitment that runs through everything we do here.

We support a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and individuals living with physical disabilities or visual and hearing impairments. We also offer respite care for those who need a short break or a period of support while their usual arrangements are in place. Whatever brings someone through our door, we take the time to understand their needs, their routines, and what matters most to them as an individual.

Life at Arden House is built around the people who live here. We believe that moving into a care home should not mean giving up the things that make life enjoyable and meaningful. Our team works closely with residents and their families to make sure each person feels at home, feels heard, and feels confident in the support they receive.

We are fortunate to be based in Pickering, a town with a real sense of community. That community spirit very much shapes the way we operate. We maintain strong connections with local people, organisations, and services, and we welcome families to be as involved in their loved one's life here as they would like to be.

Whether you are considering long term residential care or a shorter respite stay, we would always encourage you to come and visit us, have a look around, and speak with our team. There is no better way to get a feel for who we are and how we work than by spending a little time with us in person.
