About Us
We provide a small group of residential apartments near Bradford for adults with learning disabilities, autistic people and people living with mental health conditions, including younger adults.
Having a flat of your own, with support close by, suits a good many people better than a shared house does. People here have their own front door and their own things, decide how their days run and ask for help when they want it rather than having it arrive on a timetable. Staff are on hand, and the aim is always that somebody does as much for themselves as they are able to.
Support is built around what each person wants to be able to do. For some that means a job, a college course or a regular volunteering day. For others it is managing money with a hand from staff, cooking more for themselves, keeping up with family, or simply having people around who understand how they communicate and what unsettles them. Predictability counts for a great deal, particularly for autistic people, so we keep staffing as settled as we can and explain changes before they happen.
Short stays are available as well as longer arrangements.
We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are happy to discuss that openly. Please come and visit and meet the people who live here.
