About Us

Jalna Residential Care Home is a care home in Burnley, Lancashire, providing residential care for older people and for younger adults. We also welcome guests for respite stays.

We are a residential home and we keep the scale domestic. People here are not processed through a routine; they keep their own habits, choose how they spend the day, and are helped with washing, dressing, medication and getting about in whatever way suits them best. Meals are proper meals, and mealtimes are sociable for those who want company and quiet for those who do not.

What makes a home work is a team that stays. When carers know somebody well, they notice quickly when things change, they know how to lift a low mood, and families do not have to keep explaining the same things to new faces.

Relatives and friends are welcome, and we keep in touch with them honestly, including when our news is not what anybody hoped to hear.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.

If you are looking at residential care in Burnley for yourself or for someone in your family, please arrange to come in. We will show you round, introduce you to the team and give you time to think it over.
