About Grosvenor Court

We at Grosvenor Court are proud to offer a warm, welcoming residential care home in the coastal town of Folkestone, Kent, where every resident is supported to live life with dignity, purpose, and joy. Our home provides specialist residential care for adults, with particular expertise in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism, as well as offering respite care for those who need shorter stays. Nestled within the CT postcode area of Folkestone, our home benefits from the gentle pace and friendly community spirit that this part of the Kent coast is known for. Residents enjoy comfortable surroundings designed to feel like home rather than an institution, with communal spaces that encourage friendship and quieter areas for reflection or personal time. The town itself offers easy access to seafront walks, local shops, and community amenities, all of which help our residents feel connected to the wider world around them. Our specialism in supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism sits at the very heart of what we do. We understand that every individual is unique, and we take the time to truly get to know each person we care for, tailoring support to their personal preferences, routines, and aspirations. For families, this means the reassurance of knowing that a loved one is being cared for by people who genuinely understand their needs, communicate with patience and warmth, and champion their independence at every opportunity. Whether it is support with daily living, encouragement to pursue hobbies and interests, or simply the comfort of a familiar face, our approach is always person centred and respectful. Respite care is another important part of what we offer, giving family carers the opportunity to take a well earned break whilst their loved one enjoys a change of scene in safe, capable hands. Short stays are planned carefully to ensure that guests feel welcomed and settled from the moment they arrive, and many families find that respite with us becomes a valued and trusted arrangement. We are proud that the Care Quality Commission has rated us Good overall, with Good ratings across all five key domains of Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well led. For families, this independent assessment offers reassurance that the care we provide meets the standards expected of a quality residential setting, and that our team is committed to maintaining and building upon this in everything we do. Choosing the right home for someone you love is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the care and thought that goes into it. If you would like to learn more about life at Grosvenor Court, we warmly invite you to get in touch, arrange a visit, and see for yourself the caring community we have built here in Folkestone.
