About Us
We are a residential home in Uxbridge supporting adults with learning disabilities and autistic people, including younger adults and older people who need help with daily living.
The house runs as a household rather than a service. People living here have their own rooms and their own belongings and a real say in how the place works: what is cooked, when meals happen, what gets bought and where everyone goes at the weekend. For adults who have often had decisions made on their behalf, that ordinary degree of control is much of the point.
Support is built around each person and what they want to be able to do, whether that is work, college, volunteering, getting out regularly, keeping up with family, managing money with a hand from staff or doing more around the house for themselves. Where people have grown older here, needs change and we change with them, adding help with personal care, mobility and health appointments while keeping as much of the person's own routine as we can.
Predictability counts for a great deal, so we keep staffing as consistent as possible and try not to alter arrangements without warning and explanation. Respite stays are available alongside longer places.
We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are happy to discuss that openly. If you are looking for a place for yourself or someone in your family, please come and visit and ask us anything.
