About Us
Here at Orchard Close Care Home, we are proud to be part of the Hayling Island community in Hampshire, providing a genuine home from home for the people who live with us.
We offer residential care, support for people with learning disabilities and autism, and respite care for those who need a short break or some additional support during a challenging time. Our focus is always on the individual — understanding who they are, what matters to them, and how we can best support them to live well and feel at ease.
Hayling Island is a wonderful place to call home, and we make the most of our surroundings. Whether that means time outdoors, connections with the local community, or simply enjoying the calmer pace of life this area offers, we want the people we support to feel genuinely connected to where they live rather than removed from it.
We know that choosing a care home — whether for yourself, a family member, or someone you support — is one of the most significant decisions a person can make. We take that seriously. Families are always welcome here, and we work hard to make sure that everyone feels informed, listened to, and reassured from the very first conversation.
We are pleased that our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, and we continue to reflect on and improve the way we work. That rating matters to us not as a tick box but as a measure of whether the people in our care are genuinely being well looked after.
If you would like to find out more about life at Orchard Close, we would love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch or come and visit us to see things for yourself.
