About Us

Claremont House Care Home is a residential care home in Beverley, caring for people from across the East Riding of Yorkshire. We support older people and younger adults, including residents living with dementia, people managing mental ill health, adults with physical disabilities and those with visual or hearing impairments. Respite stays are available alongside permanent places.

Supporting a mixed household takes more thought than supporting a narrow one, and we believe it makes for a better home. Residents are here because of what they need rather than because they fit a category, and everyone gets the same foundation: a room that is genuinely theirs, food worth sitting down for, help offered without fuss and staff who take the trouble to know them.

For residents with sensory impairments we adapt how we communicate and how spaces are arranged rather than expecting anyone to adjust to us. For those living with dementia, life history guides everything we do, and when someone is distressed we look for the specific cause. For residents managing mental ill health, structure and continuity do much of the work.

For our younger residents, we make sure that needing care does not mean giving up plans, friendships or a say in ordinary decisions.

The Care Quality Commission rated us good at our most recent inspection.

You are welcome to visit on an ordinary day, meet the people who live here and ask us whatever you need to.
