About Us

Here at Streets Meadow, we are a care home based in the heart of Wimborne, Dorset, and we are proud to offer a warm, homely environment where residents feel genuinely safe, valued and at ease.

We support a wide range of needs across our community, including older person care, residential care, dementia care, mental health support, physical disability, visual and hearing impairment, younger adults, and respite care. This breadth of experience means that as a resident's needs change over time, we are well placed to continue supporting them without unnecessary disruption to their life here.

Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated us as Good, which reflects the consistent, thoughtful care our team provides every day. We are pleased with that recognition, though we know the real measure of what we do is in the day to day moments: a familiar face in the morning, a conversation over a meal, or simply taking the time to listen.

Wimborne is a wonderful town, and being rooted in this community matters to us. Families who visit often tell us that Streets Meadow feels welcoming from the moment they walk through the door, and that means a great deal. We work closely with residents and their loved ones to understand individual preferences, routines and histories, because good care is never one size fits all.

Whether someone is joining us for a short respite stay or making Streets Meadow their long term home, we aim to ensure that life here is as comfortable, fulfilling and dignified as possible. We are always happy to answer questions, arrange a visit, or simply have a chat about how we might be able to help. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.
