About Us
Meadow View Residential and Community Care Centre is a residential care home in Matlock, Derbyshire, providing a home and short stays for adults who need support with daily living.
The people who live here have a wide range of needs. Some are older adults who need help with personal care, mobility and medication. Many are living with dementia, and for them we keep the day calm and familiar, give people time to respond, and take the trouble to learn about their lives so that staff can be genuine company. We also support adults who have a learning disability or who are autistic, people managing mental health conditions, people living with a physical disability, people with a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults. How we communicate and how the building is used are adapted so that everybody can take part in what is going on.
Respite stays are available, giving family carers a planned break while their relative stays somewhere welcoming and well staffed.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, which reflects the ordinary consistency of our team rather than anything unusual.
Choosing a care home is rarely easy and is often decided in a hurry. We would rather you took your time. Please ring us, come and see Meadow View, meet the staff and the people living here, and ask us whatever you want to know.
