About Us

Barony Lodge Residential Care Home is in Nantwich, Cheshire. We provide residential care for older people, including people living with dementia, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment, and we offer respite stays.

We run the home as a household. People get up when they wake, sit where they choose, eat what they enjoy and keep the habits of a lifetime. Help with washing, dressing, medication and getting about is given when it is needed, quietly and with respect for privacy.

Good dementia care depends on knowing people. Our team learns each resident's history, their family and the things that reassure them when they are unsettled, and works at the resident's pace rather than ours. For those with a sensory impairment, we think carefully about lighting, noise and how we approach somebody, because those details do a great deal for confidence.

Relatives are part of the home here. They visit when it suits them, and we keep in touch about health and mood rather than only ringing when something has gone wrong.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.

If you are looking at residential care in Nantwich or the surrounding area, please arrange to visit, meet the team and take your time over the decision.
