About Us
Litslade Farm is a care home at Newton Longville in Buckinghamshire. We provide residential care for older people and younger adults, and we support adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, people living with dementia and people with a physical disability. Respite stays are available alongside permanent places.
Being in the countryside shapes what a week here can contain. There is space, there is outdoor work for those who want it, and there is quiet for people who find towns overwhelming. That suits a good many of the people we support, though we are careful that it does not become isolation. Getting out and keeping up connections beyond the front gate takes deliberate effort in a rural place, and we plan for it rather than assuming it will happen.
Everyone here has a say in the ordinary decisions: what is bought and cooked, how their room looks and how they spend their time. Routines stay steady and changes are explained well in advance.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
Families and social workers are welcome to visit and ask us anything.
