About Us

Meadowside Residential Care Home offers residential care in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, for older people and for younger adults who need help with the everyday tasks that have become difficult. We are a home rather than a hospital, and the difference shows in the pace of the place. People get up when they wake, eat what they like, and spend the day as they choose.

Support here covers washing and dressing, medication, meals, mobility, and the sort of quiet practical help that lets someone stay comfortable and keep their dignity intact. We support people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, and people who have lost some of their sight or hearing, and we adjust how we communicate and how the home is arranged so that everyone can find their way about and join in.

There is always something happening if people want it, and no obligation at all if they do not. Some of the people living here are keen on company and activity, and some would far rather have a quiet corner and a book. We take both preferences seriously.

Families are welcome whenever they wish to come, and we would much rather hear a concern early than have it sit unspoken.

We offer respite as well as permanent stays. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good, and you are welcome to visit and see the home for yourself.
