About Us
At Ivybank House Care Home, we are proud to be part of the Bath community, offering a warm and genuinely homely environment where the people in our care feel safe, valued and supported to live as well as possible.
We support a wide range of needs here, including residential care for older people, dementia care, mental health support, care for those living with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and care for younger adults. We also offer respite stays, which can be a real lifeline for families who need some short term support or simply a break knowing their loved one is in good hands.
Our approach is straightforward. We get to know each person properly, understanding their history, their preferences, their routines and what matters most to them day to day. Care is not one size fits all, and we take the time to make sure each individual has a plan that genuinely reflects who they are and what they want from life with us.
We were pleased to receive a "good" rating from the Care Quality Commission at our most recent inspection. That matters to us, not as a box ticking exercise, but because it reflects the effort our whole team puts in every single day to maintain consistent, thoughtful care.
Living in Bath means our residents benefit from a beautiful setting and we make the most of that wherever we can, whether that is time in our outdoor spaces, local connections or simply the sense of being part of a community rather than removed from one.
If you are thinking about care for yourself or a loved one, we would always encourage you to come and visit us. There is no better way to get a feel for whether Ivybank House is the right fit than simply walking through the door and having a conversation with us.
